How can I get involved?
Support a student ($30 per month)
Support an orphan ($50 per month)
Volunteer in the US or go to Africa to work on a short term basis
Support the building of an orphan house ($20,000.00)

Can I select some project that appeals to me and join with a few friends to make it happen?
Just communicate via e-mail with ReclaimKids to get direction on this.

How does ReclaimKids find the children they support?
The children receiving scholarships are chosen from many who apply for help in educating orphans they have taken in. Also the children in the orphan homes we support are automatically given educational support.

The children who are placed in an orphan home are carefully selected through procedures designed to ensure that they are truly orphans without any help for living. We strive to be certain that, once selected, there would be no disruption of our relationship with them?

Does ReclaimKids take in children who are HIV positive?
ReclaimKids does not consider that health problems should disallow a child from receiving our help. When we find a child who needs our help and we are able to help them, health problems will not stop us from reaching out to them in any way.

Does ReclaimKids Build Orphanages?
No. We do build houses and create families.

Does the work of ReclaimKids encompass health care and food programs?
ReclaimKids gives the best health care possible for the children we place in families. We are presently arranging with physicians, nurses and other volunteers to hold free health clinics on a periodic basis.

Does ReclaimKids take donations of items for the use of the orphans and those caring for them?
ReclaimKids has already sent shipments of educational supplies, medical equipment and supplies, etc. This has included computers, sewing machines, desks, cases of paper and other school supplies, as well as a wide array of medical items.

How can we send donated items to help the orphans?
Contact ReclaimKids via e-mail or post to discuss these kinds of donations. Some items are difficult to send for various reasons and it is best to check with ReclaimKids prior to sending any such conations.

Where does ReclaimKids do their work?
Presently we are focused on the nation of Uganda. However, before long we do expect to be working in other countries, especially in Africa.
